Christmas Village Festival

Held annually at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex, Christmas Village Festival is an Alabama tradition with deep roots not only in Alabama hearts, but in the hearts of customers all across the United States. Mothers and daughters, sisters, and friends begin their holiday shopping by meeting in Birmingham the first weekend in November to enjoy an amazing variety of gift ideas- all under one roof.

Día de los Muertos No. 15

Vulcan Run 10K

Linn Park
November 4
This is the 43rd running of this Birmingham classic 10k. This year’s 10k event is again the RRCA Alabama State 10k Championship Race. The course follows a scenic route from downtown Birmingham through Highland Park and Five Points South before returning to a finish next to Linn Park.

Moss Rock Festival

Moss Rock Preserve

Homestead Hollow Arts & Crafts Festival

Homestead Hollow
November 10-12
Featuring fine arts, unique hand made crafts and pioneer demonstrations of the old time days. See wood carving, blacksmithing, wood stove cooking, quilting, whiskey making at our original working still and tour our original cabins as they were built by the early settlers.

Veterans Day Parade

Boutwell Municipal Auditorium
November 11
Join us as we honor our veterans, and celebrate the freedom that their dedication and sacrifice afford us every day. Stand and be counted. Parade begins at 1:30pm and starts and ends near Boutwell Auditorium.

45th Annual Fine Crafts Show

Birmingham Botanical Gardens
