Bassmaster Classic
BJCC Exhibition Halls
March 6-8
The Academy Sports + Outdoors Bassmaster Classic presented by Huk will be held in Birmingham with fishing competition taking place on Lake Guntersville, with daily weigh-in shows and the Classic Outdoors Expo taking place in the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex in downtown Birmingham. All events are free and open to the public at no charge.
Kicking Off Birmingham Legion’s 2020 Season

Birmingham’s own professional soccer team is kicking off their 2nd-ever season at BBVA Field on March 15. They open the season with two home games in March. Learn the chants and get ready to cheer on the boys in black.
R&B Rewind Fest

The R&B Rewind Fest is bringing a full line-up of top names to the BJCC on March 29. Performers scheduled to appear include Brian McKnight, Jagged Edge, 112, Genuwine, Dru Hill, & Silk.
Elevate the Stage
Legacy Arena at the BJCC
March 13-15
Elevate the Stage is a weekend-long celebration of gymnastics. Auburn University and the University of Alabama will compete on podium Friday, March 13. Youth competition will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday (March 13-15) in both the Legacy Arena at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex and adjoining North Hall.

Guitar: The Instrument that Rocked the World

All Month Long
Experience the science of sound and the cultural impact of the guitar by exploring more than 70 instruments and 100 historical artifacts-ranging from the rare and antique to the wildly popular and innovative. This special exhibition from The National GUITAR Museum features hands-on interactives for all ages, video performances, x-ray images of guitars’ inner workings and plenty of opportunities to strum and jam.
